The 12 resources that make up UNIT 4: BIBLE LITERACY, each focus on sections or categories of scripture. The 12 resources that make up UNIT 3: BIBLE HEROES, each feature prominent individual figures from the Bible. The 12 resources that make up UNIT 2: BIBLE BASICS, provide a general overview of scripture. The 12 resources that make up UNIT 1: GETTING STARTED WITH JESUS, all have to do with the person of Jesus Christ. While the reading level remains consistent from 1 through 60, the topics increase in complexity. There are 60 versions of this resource in all, divided into 5 units. Students could use the handouts as a cheat-sheet while they play, or they could do a close read and play without their papers. The class could read together first and highlight potential answers. For example, students can participate individually, in partners or in teams. This allows for easy differentiation and scaffolding at any grade level or reading ability. By design, all questions and answers that appear in the Family Feud gameboards can be found in the readings. Each reading includes numerous Bible verse references (that could lead to extended lessons and learning opportunities as well). The purpose of the Bible Family Feud resources and accompanying handouts is to make scripture come alive for students.
